Customers looking to get an Audi RS e-tron GT in the U.S.A will now be able to drive one that closely resembles the prototype vehicles used in the development of the model, if they get their hands on one of the examples of the Audi RS e-tron GT project 513/2, that is.
Audi of America has announced that it will be offering just 75 examples of the car, complete with a wrap from the factory that sports the 'e-tron' camouflage script on both the exterior and interior. The model is exclusive to the U.S.A.
The Audi RS e-tron GT project 513/2 gets a dashboard complete with carbon fibre inlays and a camo graphic Project 513/2, if you're curious, was the internal code name for the RS e-tron GT. The limited edition car follows the red and black color theme from the original prototype test mules, and also comes complete with its Audi logos at the front and rear finished in red.
Matching this touch are front and rear ceramic brakes painted in red, which sit behind 21-inch aero wheels finished in black. And as a final touch for the exterior, the rear quarter glass of the car is etched with the text 'project_513/2'.
In the cabin, the Audi RS e-tron GT project_513/2 follows the red and black scheme, with air vents painted red to match the exterior Audi rings. The car also gets red detailing on the steering wheel, floor mats, and its fine nappa leather honeycomb stitched seats.
The car also sports a dashboard that is completed with carbon fibre inlays and camo graphics, a first from Audi design. On the centre armrest here is an embossed 'project_513/2' text, while the 10.1-inch MMI infotainment screen of the car also gets an exclusive 'project_513/2' logo in the bottom corner.
