BMW reveals M Performance Parts for the M5 Touring

Just two months after the BMW M Performance Parts for the M5 Sedan were revealed, BMW is now offering the same performance add-ons for the M5 Touring.
The retrofit products from the range of Original BMW Accessories are designed to heighten the visual drama offered and improve the aerodynamic performance of the performance estate, and are made from carbon-fibre reinforced plastic, giving the car increased presence both on the road and track.
Kicking things off is a two-section carbon fibre diffuser, designed to bring added emphasis to the Touring's muscular rear end. This can be paired with the M Performance tailpipe trims, which are made of a titanium/carbon fibre mix and come with milled titanium end rings and embossed M5 logo. Also available is a carbon fibre fin set for the rear, for those that want yet more sporting aggression.
These can be balanced off by a carbon fibre M Performance front splitter, while M Performance sill extensions add eye candy to the car's flanks and accentuate the stretched roofline of the M5 Touring. But for those who want more visual punch still, there's also M Performance side decals in Frozen Black. And there's also now the option to add to the car carbon fibre exterior mirror caps and an aramid M Performance aerial cover.
And for the cabin, there's now new M Performance floor mats, which feature a leather-look edging, decorative stitching in contrasting colours, as well as a sewn-in ribbon in the colours of BMW M GmbH.
All the BMW M Performance Parts are said to have been developed with the help of over five decades of expertise amassed by BMW M GmbH and have been tested according to the BMW Group's stringent quality guidelines.
