The car was launched on Tuesday at Silverstone, during an event that was attended by its drivers for the 2010 season, Adrian Sutil and Vitantonio Liuzzi, as well as its new reserve driver, Brit Paul Di Resta. Team boss Vijay Mallya was also present at the unveiling.
"The VJM03 is definitely an evolution of the VJM02 in terms of the design philosophies we have developed over the last year," said design director Mark Smith. "We are very happy with the direction, therefore we have opted to evolve the car rather than significantly revise," he added.
Team boss Vijay Mallya said that the team is aiming for "more points and more podiums" in 2010 following a successful 2009 in which the team secured its first ever pole position and podium finish at the Belgium Grand Prix last year. The new VJM03 is set to make its debut in pre-season testing at Jerez in Spain on 17 February.
