Behind each success story of a man there is always a woman. Women understand lasting values; they buy diamonds, which last forever, they drive the buying of homes and they invest and see beyond the future.
They even choose cars well. "Women today remain independent and focused. We are able to express our individuality through the clothes and the watches that we wear, the music that we listen to and even the cars that we drive. Women always have an eye for beautiful things and the ability to recognise values," says Alison Ong, General Manager of Porsche Centre Singapore.
Porsche, remains a dream car for most, is becoming very popular and appealing to women. "Besides continuing to play an important role in influencing their men's decision to purchase a car, we are seeing an increasing number of ladies buying Porsches."
For the first time, Porsche Centre Singapore collaborated with Standard Chartered's Priority Banking team to hold an exclusive event 'Ladies Day Out' at Porsche City Centre on 13th June 2007.
Many luxury brands partners; famous timepiece Jaquet Droz, jeweller Flower Diamond and the posh skincare, La Mer were also present on that special day. A talk session on "Investing in Luxury Timepieces" by renowned veteran collector, Dr. Bernard Cheong and a pampering session by La Mer were some of the highlights of the day.
The 50 ladies who were present at the event were smitten! "These are all good value," said Ms Dolly Cheong. "I really enjoyed driving the Porsche. It was great looking, powerful and surprisingly easy to drive!"
