Morgan reveals the first sketches of next three-wheeled model

The Morgan Motor Company has showcased the design direction of its all new three-wheeled model with the release of a series of never-before-seen design sketches.

While the exact look of the new model is not revealed in the sketches, taken together they demonstrate some of the car’s key design features including a technical front end trailed by a fluid form, with the car 'visually towed' by its leading front wheels. Further design tenets include the celebration of mechanical honestly and the communication of function through design, hallmarks of previous Morgan three wheelers.

Morgan states the design of the new model will be bold and eccentric, taking inspiration from mid-century jet planes, motorcycles, historic Morgan models and modern industrial product design - images of which adorn the walls of Morgan's design and engineering offices.

The new three-wheeled model will be fully revealed when it is launched in 2022.
