Skywell has unveiled its new 'Q' hatchback at the 2024 Paris Motor Show.
The car is the electric vehicle (EV) brand's first to make its debut in Europe, and offers durability, sizeable warranty and generous equipment levels - which includes the large opening 'Skyroof', a 15.6-inch touchscreen, and a 360-degree panoramic parking camera.
The Q's infotainment system - in addition to the 15.6-inch touchscreen - consists of the German-engineered Metz sound system with eight speakers, wireless smartphone connectivity and touchscreen displays for rear seat passengers.
Two battery options are available, with the larger battery offering a combined range of over 483km and a recharge time of around 20 minutes (10-80% at 25°C). Meanwhile, the 150kW motor thrusts the car (via the front wheels) from 0-100km/h in just 3.9 seconds.
Due to its 4,297mm length, 1,836mm width, and 1,536mm height, the Q slots into the popular 'Class C' family car segment. Design features such as its low profile, dynamic front LED lightbar and 18-inch alloy wheels were inspired by the 'Skyhome' concept.
The Q is expected to launch next year (expected in Q3 2025) and will be backed by Skywell's 7-year, 100,000-mile (160,934km) warranty and an additional eight-year, 155,000-mile (249,448km) warranty for the battery.
