The one-and-only Mercedes-AMG G63 Singapore Edition debuts

Mercedes-Benz redefines luxury through its invite-only Collectors' Club launched in tandem with a special edition car, watch, and digital collectibles.

For the first time since Mercedes-Benz launched its G-Class lineup, the luxury automotive brand has curated a Mercedes-AMG G63 Singapore Edition, which took centre stage at the Mercedes-Benz Collectors Club unveiling on 14 September. IWC Schaffhausen, Swiss luxury watch manufacturer and Mercedes-AMG's longstanding partner, also showcased its new Big Pilot's Watch AMG G63 at the event. In accompaniment was the debut of Mercedes-Benz NXT Eternities, the brand's team of experts dedicated to creating exclusive digital collectibles for members of the invite-only club. 

The Mercedes-Benz Collectors Club in Singapore will connect like-minded customers and offer them a unique and lasting relationship with the Three-Pointed Star in recognition of their passion for the brand. Membership promises the collectors first-in-line access to future, one-of-a-kind vehicle editions and customisations from Mercedes-Benz. 

Collectively, the launches commemorate the club's inauguration and hype celebrations for automotive excellence as Formula One races through town.

The highlight of the day remained, without a doubt, the one-of-one Singapore edition car. Coated in a brilliant shade of MANUFAKTUR copper orange and armed with 22-inch AMG five-spoke forged wheels in matt black, the Mercedes-AMG G63 Singapore Edition is the first and last of the G-Class to feature such a combination locally. 

The vibrant orange magno paint is reminiscent of the terracotta roofs of Keong Saik shophouses and pays homage to Singapore's rich heritage. Adding to the exclusivity and touch of locality is an exquisite "Mercedes-Benz 1 of 1" badge affixed to the bottom rear of the car. 

The interior screams luxury and comfort with touches of Nappa leather and handcrafted cherry wood

On the inside, MANUFAKTUR two-tone Nappa leather upholstery in platinum white and black, perforated by diamond geometric shapes, adorns the Mercedes-AMG G63 Singapore Edition. Nappa leather and DINAMICA microfibre also clothe its AMG Performance steering wheel. Others that complete the luxurious look and feel of the cabin include the handcrafted cherry wood used for the base of the luggage compartment and the front passenger grab handle with MANUFAKTUR lettering. 

Similar design characteristics - a unique black rubber strap with terracotta-coloured surface - feature strongly in the Big Pilot's Watch AMG G63, specially made for debut alongside the car. Collectors will be thrilled to find the IWC timepiece nestled in the dashboard of the special edition Mercedes-AMG G63. 

In conjunction with the launch of Mercedes-Benz NXT Eternities, the brand's second core collection, members of the Mercedes-Benz Collectors Club will each receive one NFT bearing either one of the iconic brand logos of Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-AMG, and Mercedes-Maybach. In total, there are only 1,886 such pieces. 

The Mercedes-AMG G63 Singapore Edition runs on an internal combustion engine. However, Mercedes-Benz Singapore has hinted at a potential reveal of a fully electric variant next year.
