Volkswagen developing Golf and Jetta Alltrack variants

It seems that Volkswagen have been applying the "you can never get enough of something good' philosophy as the carmaker plans to roll out new Alltrack variants for the Golf and Jetta. This is in line with the recent Passat Alltrack, which may also be the styling reference for the upcoming new models.

The new models will get an increased ride height and comes cladded in plastic body.  The models are also envisioned as an alternative to the next-generation Tiguan which will grow in size and offer a third-row of seats.

Both models are expected to ride on the MQB platform and the Golf Alltrack could be offered with front- or all-wheel drive. Should everything go as planned, the models will hit the markets in 2015.
