Volkswagen T-Cross to be offered in Rubber Ducky yellow

Volkswagen has announced that updated the T-Cross, which is available internationally in new colours including Clear Blue Metallic, Kings Red Metallic, and Grape Yellow, will be sold in the U.K. with the last yellow option instead being called Rubber Ducky Yellow.

The new name for the colour was decided by a popular poll conducted on social media, and the bath-time-inspired name is said to have floated to the top with a total of 64% of the votes.

"Some might say putting a paint name to public vote is a quackers idea," said Oliver Lowe, T-Cross Product Manager at Volkswagen U.K. He continues, "But we were confident people wouldn’t get in a flap while trying to decide on a new name, and we think Rubber Ducky yellow was a really eggs-cellent choice."

The updated Volkswagen T-Cross is expected to arrive here in Singapore come the second quarter of 2024.
