A very reliable 2WD 5dr 2.4L SUV `

Since 1999, This is my 8th car I've owned and my 3rd SUV. I was a bit worried about FC but there's a knack to driving this car and tuning the FC. This car likes long, slow rides to optimise the FC; If you're heavy right footer and likes to floor the accelerator, you wont get good mileage for sure. I often take long, slow drives if I'm headed somewhere further from my home. I use cruise control to "Tune" The reading on the FC. I can get 9.8L to 10.5L/100km at times. Mind you, it's a 1.8 tonne beast. I've met other similar owners who can hardly achieve my kind of FC. As for parking, I'm used to parking large cars, so it's definitely not for those who struggle with parallel park. In terms of accelerating to change lanes, its 170hp power allows you to pick up speed in a matter of seconds. I love the car's sensor when it detects low-light or night-time situations, the headlights are automatically turned on. Ironic that today's modern cars with daytime lights .... Many of them are seen driving it turned on but their main front and rear lights are off during the night. I don't know why these cars with better tech cannot auto-sense it is night time.
I got this car at 54,000km on its odometer in its 7th year... Pretty low mileage. The car was previously owned by a rental company. It was very well maintained. The only issue I had was a worn out suspension, spent battery and worn out universal turning axel for the steering. As a 7-seat SUV, I have plenty of space to transport goods/people. I bought new tires (Continental 18inch, 235) as soon as I got them as I figured this heavy SUV will need good wheels to get grip and stability.
