Owned this 4 mths...superb! - Auto Start Stop cuts off engine at traffic and saves petrol - 13.5 km/liter average. On PIE it can go 16.5 km/lit. Smooth 8-speed gear, cannot notice gear change. Choice of Economy, Comfort or Sport mode drives. Sport mode very powerful.

What I like
So much intelligence...allows to set fan to auto cool car at preset times. I-drive computer provides FC graph history, measures oil level with no dipstick, measures how many more km before tank empty, monitors tyre pressure, etc. comfort access - preset seat position based on key fob; boot open by leg kick. Choice. best is reasonable price with bigger dimensions than predecessor 3 series. Looks like 5 series. Exquisite shark-faced front lights

What I do not like
no spare tyre, no reverse camera, no In built GPS, high rear hump, cannot lift up wipers

This Bavarian meister is definitely the cream of the crop in its class. Just a drive with all of its contenders and you will definitely see where all your money is spent. The refinement and the way the whole chassis and the car behaves as you carve out a corner is unfound in most of its other rivals in its class. True to its roots in motorsport, BMW tests their prototypes rigorously in the green hell and their chassis capability even down the rung in their entry level models can truly reflect its potential. A very capable car that is now a lot more appealing to the average buyer with the availability of turbocharged economical powerplants that will definitely trump most of its rivals. Added to the fact that it has a reliable 8 speed torque converter ZF automatic transmission, it will surely outlast many of its rivals in terms of reliability and in terms of fuel efficiency. I have had a terrible stint with dual clutch gearboxes from one of their rivals and i will not look back again. Dual clutch works flawlessly on the race tracks, but for our local Singapore context, a torque converter for me please. Definitely the class leader now. What's not to like.

Just took delivery of the car yesterday and discovered that the car is far from being underpowered. Once you switch on the sport mode, the car surges forward without you feeling the rush but the car really flies! And there is a vast difference in FWD and RWD in terms of the body roll.

What I like
1. front profile with the DRL
2. power on demand
3. easy to use accessories in cabin
4. minimal body roll
5. nice rims in luxury line
6. comfort access - keyless entry and lock
7. door handle lights are useful at night

What I do not like
When I activate the eco pro mode, the aircon becomes unbearably warm but you could do something about it in the car setting.

Did a test drive on the 328i last week.

First impressions were great the car looked much better than in pictures. I kinda liked the aggressive stance that look shark-like from upfront though I think overall design somewhat shared some resemblance to previous generation

Interior was a huge improvement from the previous gen---very futuristic esp the dashboard, rear legroom was not bad

Initially wasn't expecting much from a 2L but trust me after test driving, this is one of the best engines I've ever tried, smooth and effortless in power delivery. The drive totally caught my heart and i placed an order for a 328i on the spot. And just to add, I didnt expect the ride to be so comfortable esp when the 3 series is meant for more hardcore driving.

The only thing I didnt really like was the single disc player which is kind of troublesome and also the slightly higher price compared to other makes.

What I like
Everything!

What I do not like
Nothing

I did a test drive on the 328i as the 320i has not arrived in Singapore. It will be arriving around late May 2012.

THE FIRST IMPRESSION - THE EXTERIOR - TERRIBLY AWESOME!!
THE PROTRUDING FRONT IS EXOTIC.
Resembles a deadly shark - Furthermore, it was a Gun Metal Grey that was for Test Drive.

INTERIOR - VERY SPACIOUS - Both Front & Rear. EXCELLENT DASHBOARD.

The 328i Luxury Line & 335i Sports Line were available for Test Drive.

SPORTS LINE & LUXURY LINE - They have Different EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR styling

MY PREFERENCE IS THE SPORTS LINE.

From the FRONT VIEW, the Difference between the Sports & Luxury Lines can be spotted by the styling of the Chrome Element which is located near the fog lights.

The 328i - Terribly SOUPED UP 2 Litre Engine.
The 320i - Also a TREMENDOUSLY SOUPED UP 2 litre Engine compared to the CURRENT 320i and ANY SEDAN in its class

- GREAT PICK-UP
- EXCELLENT FUEL EFFICIENCY
- 8 SPEED!
- GPS
- BLUETOOTH INTERFACE
- DAY TIME RUNNING HEADLIGHTS
- START/STOP ENGINE FUNCTION - (TO START THE CAR AND OFF THE ENGINE)
- DRIVE SELECT - ECO MODE, COMFORT, SPORTS
- AUTO START STOP ENGINE WHEN THE CAR IS AT HALT - At traffic Lights, when stuck in traffic jam. Engine restarts itself the time u release ur foot from the brake. & THIS SAVES FUEL!
- NO REVERSE CAMERA
- SINGLE CD PLAYER
- CONTACTLESS OPENING OF THE BOOT - One well-placed movement of the foot is all that’s needed.
(ONLY THIS FEATURE IS NOT PRECISE AS U HAVE TO TRY MANY TIMES FOR THE SENSOR TO DETECT U) - I Have a solution in mind that I want to try to see if it works the next time I Drop by the showroom.

EAGERLY WAITING FOR THE 320i Sports Line!!!

What I like
EVERYTHING!

What I do not like
NOTHING!
