Review
Has been quite hesitate when I first did my research online, where I read a mixture of good and bad reviews about the car. However, after test driving the car, I was sold. Straightaway signed my name on the dotted line and waited a few months for the car to arrive. Finally collected the car 2 weeks ago. THe styling is great (looks like the Megane Sport RS), the performance is not too bad (as compared to my previous ride of Mit Lancer GLX). Features like built-in GPS, keyless entry, daytime LED lights, a torquey engine and many many features...you need to drive one to really appreciate it...You won't be disappointed!
What I like
1) built-in GPS,
2) keyless entry,
3) daytime LED lights,
4) a torquey engine (110 BHP, 240Nm of torque at low revs)
5) diesel engine = cheaper top-up cost at the pumps
What I do not like
1) Diesel engine is noisier than petrol equivalent
2) Higher Road Tax (about double of that of petrol equivalent)
3) Limited rear leg space (not that I mind as I am in the driver seat all the time)
4) Only service centre is at Leng Kee Road (so far away)
Review
Excellent torque on tap, great fuel economy, decent handling, head turner, low price.
what more can one ask for?
A more stylized interior perhaps. Not that its anywhere near shabby- it still retains its French flair for design, just. maybe. a little plain.
get past the diesel clatter and the slightly higher levels of vibration and you have a small little beast raring to go.
What I like
the torque,
the design,
the handling
the fuel economy
and
the price!
What I do not like
the diesel clatter- takes some getting used to.
