Review
Went to try out this mid size S60 from Volvo. First looks is muscular and sporty with a shorter body than its elder sibling, the S90 which is the extreme luxury drive in its class.
As Volvo, this German make comes with many great features, like its tablet size infotainment that has many features from audio to car settings for you to play around. The R-Design with topping up $10k sounds more visible to have as you get not just the R-Design kits, also with sunroof, not only the usual cosmetics.
In it a 2.0L with 180+hp, its 300Nm torque pickup can blow you away during move off. Gear changes are extremely smooth sailing where without even noticing it, you could be in 100km/h or faster (the SE prompted me I have already accelerated "Silently" To 120km/h which i quickly slowed down).
Overall, its a considerable against A4 or C class if you are willing to part around $170k to get a smooth, luxury sedan.
What I like
Luxury interior
Great Drive
Sleek and Sportiness
Good Torque with great pickup
Good throttling
What I do not like
T4 at $165k and $175k (R-Design) as at 11 Jul, kinda on the high side.
No sunroof for T4 normal.

I drove the last exact model of this car & it was a terrible experience. In short, I've experienced:
- Engine Failure (need replacement)
- Gearbox Failure 2x (need replacement)
- Clutch Failur (need replacement)
- Multiple times of Engine Oil Leakages
- Multple times of Transmission Oil Leakages via the seal (need multiple replacements of seals)
- Engine Mount Replacements

Been waiting for this model release and went to test drive it.
First impression is the exterior styling, eye catching yet elegant. Test drove the T4 R design and the ride is comfy, eases over uneven roads. Legroom at the back row is huge! SO gave a instant thumbs up. Road noise in cabin is negligible.
Was initially comparing the A4 and the S60 and with the large legroom available at the back row, the S60 wins for me.
Will definitely get this when the price is right!
What I like
- Minimalist interior design
- Comfortable, plush leather seats
- Large amount of legroom at the back row
- Suite of safety features
What I do not like
- No adaptive cruise control for R design
- Noticed a slight hesitation when I floored the pedal

Review
Been waiting for this new model to arrive on our sunny shores and finally got to try it out recently.
Really liked the exterior. Minimalistic and clean dashboard looks good but with a glaring flaw.
The R-Design trim is a better deal than the Momentum trim, quite a fair bit more equipment for 10k more although it lacks Adaptive Cruise Control with Pilot Assist.
What I like
1. Exterior styling
2. Good enough engine performance and pickup (for me). Could only get up to 70~80kmh on test drive route
3. Well planted and comfy ride
4. Quiet cabin
5. Nice, big, iPad-lookalike touchscreen
What I do not like
1. Gearbox was a bit hesitant when moving off.
2. Changing aircon and fan settings on the touchscreen was distracting and best carried out when car is stationary. Given that Volvo is all about safety, it is strange that these controls was designed this way. Another way to change these settings is via voice command, but I don't really want to talk to my car.
3. Boot space is not expandable as the backseats cannot be folded. Upgrade to V60 for this "feature
4. Dashboard material is good but not as good as VW's models in the same category (not referring to A4)
5. Pricing is high at 185k/195k (Momentum/R-Design), OMV is approx 34k/36.5k, profit margin is 50k. Those who can afford will go for Germany's 1A2B. Value-seekers will have to look elsewhere. There is a 15k overtrade going-on though, so keen buyers should act fast.

Review
Went for a test drive for Volvo models.
S60 was fun, precise and offered decent space.
Acceleration was better than 318 and somehow felt more comfortable.
I personally didn't like the Interior especially the screen to control most.
Knowing the car was not made in Sweden, I couldn't fully agree with its worth vs. Price to pay.
What I like
Acceleration.
Comfort.
Simple design
What I do not like
Price
space, lack of compartments.
