Next to the X7 and GLS, this Q7, with its slab sides and fitting squarish grille, now looks almost discreet. But is the the flagship SUV to get?

What I like
It's big and handsome. And all the metal also means its spacious on the outside, and comfortable to ride in. Seats are great, and while the infotainment can take a time to get used to, its all well within reach and the rest of the cabin feels absolutely well built.

What I do not like
Throttle response when left to its regular drive mode is dull. There's power underneath that bonnet sure, but this is one of those cars where you need to insist twice before the car will offer anything up.

Adjusting the second row seats is also a strength-testing affair.

The Audi Q7 is by no means an affordable SUV, at over $400,000 it is a serious purchase. Test driving it, I am thoroughly impressed by the level of insulation and comfort it offers on the go, I suppose that is what's to be expected of a car of this price point.

Looks wise, Audi cars always tend to look good, it is the same for the Q7 with its instantly recognisable design.Being such a huge car, the Q7 drives expectedly like one, while it isn't difficult to drive, you can feel the weight and size of the car from how it reacts to steering inputs and how the car accelerates.

Inside the car is spacious and well built with plenty of headroom, I think it would be difficult to find someone that wouldn't fit comfortably in the Q7.

What I like
- Refined drive
- Classy looks despite being a really large SUV
- Very well-insulated cabin with minimal noise, the Q7 would be perfect for long road trips!
- Well equipped with plenty of features to make driving easy and enjoyable

What I do not like
- At the price of a HDB flat, this surely isn't a car that will appeal to the masses.
