Large, useful and versatile Japanese MPV | Posted on 24 Sep 2021 |

Review
While some might feel that the Odyssey is getting a little old, since it has been around for quite some time with most updates being just facelifts without major changes. But this shouldn't take away from the fact that it is an excellent MPV with lots of space and versatility to offer.
Unlike some other MPVs, the Odyssey's third row seats knocks down and folds neatly into the recess in the boot floor, creating a flat, useful surface. Of course when the 3rd row is used, this additional space is pretty handy as well.
Driving impressions, being an NA large engine, the Odyssey although not very powerful, offers a smooth and refined drive. For a sweet Japanese MPV with lots of space, it really is quite a good deal

This new Odyssey although looks better than before, is still just a facelift. The Odyssey has remained the same for quite some time with multiple facelifts, Honda should come up with an entirely new model soon.
Overall it is quite a nice drive, handles quite nicely for such a big car, but the engine feels quite strained even though it is quite a large capacity. This might be due to it being non turbo.
The interior of this car is also very similar to the older pre facelift model, only the top half of the dashbaord has been updated. But it is quite spacious inside and you can fold down the last row seats to get flat floor, vbery handy.
What I like
Being a Honda, reliability isn't an issue, looks wise, it is quite a handsome car. Drives nicely as well.
What I do not like
Feels a little low on power. Rather old car dressed up through multiple facelifts, quite dated.

Review
The big grille on this new Honda Odyssey looks very fierce, in fact the whole front looks different from last time, it is only when I saw the side profile then I noticed it is a facelift version, not a totally new car.
Honda did quite a big change for this facelift, inside, the dashboard, meter and center screen has been upgraded. It has all the features you expect in new cars like Android Auto.
It is very spacious inside, but if you use the third row seats, there is not much space left for cargo.
What I like
Fierce design, got all the features I need inside. Very little wind noise, car feels solid, handle quite well even though it is very big.
What I do not like
Not very powerful even though the CC quite big, maybe if turbocharged will be better.

If you're looking for a luxury SUV with AD backing the Odyssey is really a good choice. And this new facelift really makes it a little more unique and puts up a proper fight against the Toyota luxury MPV twins the Alphard and Vellfire.
What I like
-good comfort
-facelift really makes the odyssey look so much better inside and outside
-special mention to the dashboard, looking much cleaner than before
What I do not like
-still a bit too much money, but still cheaper than high spec alphard/vellfire from PI

Review
As parents of 3 young children, my wife and I couldn't find another car that we love so much.
At this price point, there are no direct competitors for an MPV
