Review MINI's new electric SUV has grown and now can offer genuinely comfortable levels of space for all in the back. But its other newfound features might not be as endearing.
What I like Beyond the new found space? There's less of that artificial steering weight that plagued Countrymans of old. And gone are the fiddly door handles for new easier to grab horizontal ones.
What I do not like Loss of driver's instrument cluster will be felt for many. The round central display is less intuitive to refer to as in other cars that use this cabin layout. The fact that the fonts and background colours keep changing depending on your selected drive mode (of which there are too many) certainly does not help.
Ride is firm to the point of irritation. Material used on the door cards feels outright rough to touch.
