If you have a car, there will definitely be a day you will need to get your tyres changed. And if you're the busy sort, you probably would not want to spend your evenings or weekends at the workshop trying to change your tyres.
Now, a company called Tyrepac has launched Asia's first tyre retail portal where people can visit to shop for their tyres. Among their range of services includes a Mobile Fitment service that will deliver the tyres right to where your car is parked and change your tyres on the spot.
Their website, www.tyrepac.com aims to provide transparent pricing and to make the whole process of getting a new set of tyres easier.
Managing Director and co-founder of Tyrepac, Mr Ler Hwee Tiong, said, "There will always be a demand for tyres since every motor vehicle, old or new, will need to have their tyres replaced depending on usage and driver requirements."
Commenting on some of the difficulties that motorists faced, Mr Ler commented, "We noticed that there was a lack of price transparency amongst local retailers and garages and motorists would have to visit several stores to ensure they get the best deals and tyres they wanted. Tyrepac will be able to bridge this gap by offering motorists the perfect platform for price and product comparison at one single convenient location. This is the first time such a service is made available in this region."
