Aston Martin has released the first image of its upcoming hybrid hypercar, codenamed Project '003'.
The mid-engine model is part of a joint development project between Aston and Red Bull Advanced Technologies, and is built around a lightweight structure and powered by a turbocharged petrol-electric hybrid pwoertrain. Active aerodyanmics will allow outstanding levels of downforce, while active suspension systems will provide next-level precision, control and driver connection.
While this exceptional breadth of performance is of paramount importance, the car is also being designed and engineered to offer more practical concessions to road use, including space for luggage. Production of the Project '003' will be limited to 500 examples globally, with the first cars arriving to market in late 2021.
