Cat A COE - Premiums see a minimal $53 rise
Premiums for Cat A, for cars up to 1,600cc in engine capacity and with an output of no more than 130bhp, increased by $53 (0.1%) to end at $40,609 this bidding round.The minimal climb sees premiums for the category reaching 17.2% above the 12-month trailing average.
The number of unsuccessful bids this round exceeded the available quota by 33%, far lower than the average of 53% for Cat A in the last 12 months.
Cat B COE - Premiums slip $299
Premiums for Cat B, for larger cars with more than 130bhp or engine displacements larger than 1,600cc, only fell slightly this bidding round, dropping by $299 (0.6%) to reach $49,001.The slip sees premiums for the category reaching to 27.3% above the 12-month trailing average.
The total number of unsuccessful bids this round exceeded the quota available by 36%, lower than the 12-month average of 54%.
Cat C COE - Premiums still continue their upward climb
In Cat E, the open category, premiums continued their climb by $6,99 (2.0%), closing at $35,900.
The number of unsuccessful bids this round exceeded the available quota by 83%, far higher than the 12-month trailing average of 60%.
Cat E COE - Premiums hold steady, dropping by only $11
In Cat E, the open category, premiums slipped only slightly, falling by $11 (0.02%), closing at $49,489.The number of unsuccessful bids this round exceeded the available quota by 62%, which is higher than the 12-month trailing average of 53%.
