Hot on the heels of the recent launch of the all new Tucson, Hyundai has unveiled a sporty N Line trim for its popular SUV.
The new Tucson N Line combines the futuristic design, comfort and advanced connectivity of the Tucson with the motorsport-inspired styling and attitude of N Line.
At the front, the parametric jewels on the grille of the Tucson N Line sit taller and is wider than on the regular car. The parametric jewel patterns on the grille pieces have also been elaborated with new edges, creating additional reflections depending on the angle from which the car is viewed.
Under the grille sits a rectangular shaped bumper and a refined air intake, which is taller and bigger than on the standard Tucson for a sportier look. The bumper, which is replicated at the rear, works harmoniously with the bright silver skid plates. Black bezels now frame the head lights.
At the side, the Tucson N Line is characterised by body coloured side moulding which offers dynamic proportions and lines to provide a slimmer look. Stylish Phantom Black side mirrors further enhance the Tucson N Line's sleek styling.
To emphasise the car's sporty appearance at the rear, the Tucson N Line is fitted with an aerodynamic spoiler that is longer than that of the standard model and garnished with fins. The N Line model also gets an aggressive twin tip exhaust.
In the cabin the Tucson N Line gets N-branded sporty seats with black suede and leather seat coverings, as well as red stitching. Red stitching is also woven on the door trim and armrest, while the grey cloth crash pad is garnished with red accents. A dedicated N steering wheel arrives complete with an N logo. Further N Line enhancements include metal pedals, a foot rest and door steps.
Powertrain options available in the U.K. are based on the four-cylinder 1.6-litre T-GDI Smartstream engine for maximum efficiency. These include a standard 148bhp specification, a 48V mild-hybrid option with either 148bhp or 178bhp, a 227bhp hybrid option, or a 261bhp plug-in hybrid.
