Skoda has revealed the updated Kodiaq with a revised exterior as well as new interior options.

At the front of the SUV now rests a new six-sided radiator grille, which adopts a more upright position on the car. The Kodiaq has also received a new, elevated bonnet. Other details adding to the rugged look are the new bumpers, surrounded on either side by L-shaped panels. The car also gets a wider central air intake.

Redesigned head lights for the Kodiaq are now slimmer and give the car a new 'four-eye' look
Also new are the Kodiaq's head lights, which now get what Skoda describes as a 'four-eye' look. Those head lights also now use LED technology as standard, with state-of-the-art Full LED Matrix lights also available as an option.

At the rear, the car gets a more distinctive diffusor, paired with a redesigned roof spoiler. The taillights also now feature full LED technology and get a narrower, more chiselled look.

The cabin of the new Kodiaq also gets new contrasting stitching, while the LED ambient lighting gets an extended range of functions. The 'Ambition' and 'Style' rims will also offer the option of seat upholstery made from recycled materials.

All versions of the new Kodiaq also have a new steering wheel. The standard one is a new two-spoke steering wheel with crystalline controls, while the sportier 'Sportline' and RS variants have three-spoke steering wheels.

The new ergonomic seats are fully electrically adjustable and can have heating, ventilation and even massage functions
The optional seven-seater also gets new ergonomic seats for passengers in the front. They are fully electrically adjustable, with a manually extendable seat base. In addition to memory foam and perforated leather upholstery, they can have heating, ventilation and even massage functions.

Occupants will also get to enjoy first-class infotainment system at their fingertips, thanks to a 9.2-inch touchscreen display. Another option is a 10.15-inch virtual instrument panel with four display styles or, in the case of the 'Sportline' and RS versions, a fifth sporty design.

Petrol options for the new Skoda Kodiaq include a 148bhp 1.5-litre TSI with cylinder deactivation. This engine is combined with a manual six-speed gearbox and front-wheel drive. A mid-range petrol 2.0-litre TSI engine offers up 188bhp. Top of the range is the RS version with its 2.0 TSI engine adjusted to deliver 241bhp.
