Sentosa Golf Club has further expanded its sustainability agenda by announcing a new partnership with Porsche Asia Pacific.

Five new Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations have been installed as part of Porsche Destination Charging, a global charging network available at premium lifestyle destinations. This makes Sentosa Golf Club the first of its kind in Singapore and the Southeast Asian region to join the programme.

The 11kW AC destination chargers are currently available for use by all plug-in hybrid or fully electric vehicles that use a Type 2 connector, enabling members to recharge their cars for free whilst going about their day-to-day business at the Club.

This coincides with Sentosa Island's plan to transform into a carbon-neutral destination by 2030, and contribute towards Singapore's larger goal of creating 60,000 EV charging points by the end of the decade. Sentosa Golf Club will use the opportunity to encourage its members to take a more sustainable approach and go electric for the good of the environment.
