Pre-production versions of the Renault Megane eVision, now called the Megane E-Tech, are ready to make their debut on the road. The Megane eVision concept, revealed by Renault in 2020, signals the French automaker's first venture into C-segment electric vehicles.

The production version, when it arrives, will enhance Renault's comprehensive lineup of fully electric passenger cars. This includes the bestselling Zoe E-Tech, which is 100% Electric.

The pre-production cars will be covered with a tailor-made pattern from Renault Design
Based on the brand's advanced CMF-EV platform, the all new Megane E-Tech Electric features a 214bhp e-motor and a 60kWh battery pack enabling up to 448km of range.

The new model will gradually unveil its final design as a fleet of 30 pre-production cars will be driven on open roads in the coming months by Renault engineers.

Built at Renault's Douai factory in Northern France, the pre-production cars will be covered with a tailor-made camouflage pattern from Renault Design, made up of lines and patterns from the new version of the iconic Renault logo.

The release of the Megane E-Tech ties in with the brand's ambition is to embody modernity and innovation in technology, energy, and mobility services in the automotive industry and beyond.
