Volkswagen is intensifying its e-offensive in China with the debut of the ID.3 there, at the Chengdu Motor Show.

The all-electric car will be available in the world's largest market for e-mobility from the fourth quarter of 2021. Following the ID.3's debut at the motor show in Chengdu, Chinese customers will be able to reserve their cars via a pre-booking system.

Volkswagen expects deliveries from the ID. family to reach 80,000 to 100,000 vehicles by the end of 2021, subject to the supply situation for semiconductors.
