The Spanish brand has reached the milestone of one million vehicles sold in the U.K. since is first started exporting cars there in 1985.

Seat has reached a new milestone in the U.K. with the sale of one millionth vehicle. The millionth car, a Seat Leon e-hybrid, was sold to a private customer.

The U.K is Seat's third largest market, after Spain and Germany. The firm has been exporting cars to the U.K. since 1985, initially beginning with the first-generation Seat Ibiza and the Malaga saloon.

By comparison, Seat sold 68,800 vehicles in 2019, a new U.K. record for the brand, and was one of the fastest growing major automotive manufacturers in the country.

The introduction of the Cupra brand in 2019 and the Mo eco-mobility brand in 2021 has further quickened the pace at which the Seat brand has increased sales and electrified its lineup.
