Lexus has revealed a new LC Hokkaido Edition, inspired by the island of Northern Japan with the same name.

Limited to 40 examples each for the convertible and coupe in Europe, the LC Hokkaido Edition takes after the volcanoes of the northern islands, home of the Lexus Shibetsu proving ground, where vehicles such as the LFA supercar were developed to perfection. Here is also where the Lexus LC was fastidiously tuned by the firm’s Takumi masters.

The interior dashboard of the Lexus LC500 is rose red on the driver's side, and black on the passenger side
The LC Hokkaido Edition is available in either Flare Red, Sonic Platinum, F White or Graphite. It also gets an exclusive black signature grille, alongside 21-inch rims. Those that opt for the convertible will be able to spec theirs in either red or black.

The limited edition car also gets an interior dashboard that is finished in black on the passenger side, and dark rose on the driver's side. This design choice reflecting the fact that the Lexus LC is both imbued with a fiery passion, while being the perfect grand tourer to take on long, relaxing road trips.

The LC Hokkaido Edition is available with both the 3.5-litre V6 Lexus LC500h equipped with a hybrid drivetrain, as well as the screaming 5.0-litre V8 Lexus LC 500.
