Mercedes-Benz has revealed the first images of the interior of the upcoming EQS SUV.
The full-size luxury SUV is set to get the optional MBUX Hyperscreen first seen in the Mercedes-Benz EQS.
Spanning nearly the entire width of the cabin at 56-inches, the MBUX Hyperscreen in the EQS SUV integrates the instrument cluster, infotainment and passenger display into a seamless design in place of the dashboard.
With the MBUX Hyperscreen installed, the front passenger will be able to enjoy content such as video-streaming or TV from a separate 12.3-inch OLED display, which dims automatically if a camera detects that the driver has his/her eyes on the passenger screen.
Mercedes states the interior of the SUV will also be finished with fine leather and genuine wood for a warm and tactile experience when seated in the car.
The car is also said to offer an innovative trim which utilises Magnolia wood. Laser-cut into this piece of wood are numerous tiny holes shaped like Mercedes-Benz stars, while a steel sheet is pressed into the wood from behind to produce a beautiful and modern inlay effect.
The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV will also be offered as either a five or seven-seater variants, with the latter still being able to fit four golf bags within its boot. A Dolby Atmos sound system will also feature in the cabin of the luxury SUV.
