BMW has revealed the first details of the upcoming 7 Series, as well as its all-electric variant, the i7.
Based on the images offered, the BMW i7 looks set to get the new illuminated contour grille we first saw on the XM Concept, while the firm's characteristics twin round head lights are now slim horizontal items.
BMW states that the interiors of the cars are also set to offer a new, innovative user experience thanks to new My Modes and the firm's latest Operating System 8.
The instrument panels of both cars will get a new light and function strip, capable of providing visual and haptic feedback, while a new Sky Lounge panoramic glass roof will feature in the 7 Series, adding to the car’s sense of spaciousness and modernity.
And it seems like the BMW Theatre Screen, which we saw in the iX at the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show, is also set to make an appearance in the i7.
BMW states that the 31-inch screen deployed in the i7 will moves out of the roof liner and offer a panoramic 32:9 display format in 8K streaming resolution, transforming the rear seats into an exclusive, private cinema lounge where passengers can select their personal entertainment programme from a diverse range of streaming offers.
