Skoda has updated the Karoq crossover.

On the exterior, the car now sports a new, more emotive exterior, thanks to a wider, now hexagonal grille up front, as well as slimmer and sharper LED head lights and taillights. The car also now has a split daytime running light signature.

At the rear, the Skoda Karoq also now has a new spoiler. Meanwhile, new air curtains in the front apron, and a now covered underbody, together with aerodynamically optimised wheels mean the exterior of this updated Karoq is now 9% more aerodynamically efficient than before.

In the cabin, the Skoda Karoq is now offered internationally with new, sustainable seat covers as part of the optional Eco pack. These seat covers are made out of recycled PET bottles, among other materials, and come with leather-style design features.

The car also now has extended LED ambient lighting which illuminates the front as well as the rear door panels in one of ten colour options and the footwell in white.

8.0-inch digital instrument cluster will become standard for the Skoda Karoq later in the year
Customers of the Karoq will get to choose from either a 6.5-inch, 8.0-inch or 9.2-inch central infotainment display. Both the Bolero and Amundsen 8.0-inch systems come with a digital DAB radio and a built-in eSIM alongside the digital voice assistant Laura, while the 9.2-inch Columbus system will also come with gesture control.

Skoda states that all variants of the Skoda Karoq will also come with an 8.0-inch digital instrument cluster, although 'Ambition' trim cars and above will sport a 10.25-inch display here as standard.

The Skoda Karoq will come with a total of three petrol-powered drivetrains. The range starts with a 1.0-litre three-cylinder producing 108bhp and 200Nm, while a 1.5-litre four-cylinder is also offered, producing 148bhp and 250Nm of torque.

A 2.0-litre four-cylinder paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and all-wheel drive is also offered, developing 188bhp and 320Nm of torque.
