Bentley has updated the crowning pinnacle of the Continental family with an updated Continental GT Mulliner.

The car is getting a set of enhancements to both its W12 engine and applying the advanced chassis technology from the GT Speed, making the GT Mulliner W12 the most powerful, fastest, most dynamic and most luxurious Continental GT yet created.

Bentley Continental GT Mulliner W12 now puts out a total of 650bhp, up from the 626bhp of before
Up front, the car's W12 engine has been updated, now sporting a total of 650bhp, a 4% increase over the standard W12. A peak torque of 900Nm has been maintained. This allows the Bentley updated Continental GT Mulliner to crack the zero to 100km/h sprint in just 3.6 seconds, and on to a top speed of 335km/h.

And reining in all this power is Bentley's three-chamber active air suspension, adaptive damping, all-wheel steering, and Bentley's Dynamic Ride provide control, all designed to offer comfort and handling prowess in abundance. The firm has also updated its 48V active anti-roll control system first pioneered on the Bentayga SUV - tuned here in the GT Mulliner with all the knowledge and learning since the system's introduction.

Bentley states that the anti-roll system's motors can deliver up to 1,300Nm in 0.3 seconds to counteract cornering forces and keep the body level when set into its firmest setting.

The car continues to be available in eight different suggested colour-combinations, alongside Bentley's Diamond in Diamond quilting
In the cabin, Continental GT Mulliner continues to be offered in eight different three-colour combinations, although customers will still be able to choose their own set of colours or specify the cabin colours and materials from the full suite of Bentley hide colours, veneers and stitching.

And Bentley's Diamond in Diamond quilting in the seats, doors trims and rear quarter panels, now sport both contrast and accent stitching.

On the exterior, meanwhile, the Bentley Continental GT Mulliner continues to be identified by its Double Diamond matrix grille, complemented by matching front fender vents echoing the same silver and black design and with Mulliner branding. All of these features are available either with a bright chrome or with the more contemporary gloss black appeal of Mulliner Blackline Specification.
