Maserati will be re-entering the motorsports scene with their newly released Maserati MC20 which was designed since the early stages to bring the famed Trident badge back on track. The MC20 will feature in the Fanatec GT2 European Series Championship, making its debut in 2023.
The Maserati MC20 GT2 is based on the road going version where it inherits many of its specifications. These include the Nettuno engine with Maserati Twin Combustion technology, double-wishbone suspension with semi-virtual steering axis and a carbon fibre monocoque.
Maserati's long-awaited return to the track represents a link between the new era and its past storied history with the highly successful Maserati MC12 race car in races back in 2004 to 2010.
