Polestar and Luminar have announced that they will be collaborating on integration of 3D laser scanning technology into the Polestar 5.

The announcement comes as part of a new expansion of the collaboration between Polestar and technology firm Luminar, which will see both firms working together on the industrial design and integration of Luminar's 3D laser scanning technology.
The Polestar 5 electric four-door GT is expected to launch in 2024, and take after the design of the Polestar Precept concept car.
