Hyundai has announced that it will be launching Re:Style 2023 with renowned Fashion Designer Jeremy Scott. Now in its fourth year, 'Re:Style' is an eco-friendly upcycling platform that calls internationally acclaimed designers to transform automotive waste into fashion items.

For this year's collection, Jeremy Scott has made a haute couture collection utilising discarded materials from Hyundai's electric vehicles, alongside deadstock fabrics. The Hyundai Re:Style exhibition will be presented in Seongsu-dong in Seoul, South Korea, alongside the launch of the new Kona Electric, following a gala preview event.

The exhibition space has been designed with a parametric pixel motif, a representative element of Hyundai Motor's electric vehicle lineup, while visitors will also be able to view an archive book and brand film, designed to offer a more sensory experience.

Hyundai Motor's 'Re:Style' debuted in 2019 in New York with Maria Cornejo, who created clothing from waste car seat fabric. In 2020, the project served as a platform for a collaboration with six designers at London store Selfridges, while in 2021, the company partnered with L'Eclaireur in Paris and Boontheshop in Seoul to further widen its impact.
