The MINI Clubman could soon be bowing out. Or at least, the petrol-powered version could be, with the reveal of this new MINI Clubman Final Edition.

Limited to just 1,969 units (1969 being the year the first Mini Clubman was created), the MINI Clubman Final Edition will be available as a Cooper or a Cooper S, alongside the respective diesel variants internationally.

The car is also being offered in Nanuq White, Enigmatic Black and Melting Silver. Setting this special edition apart from the regular Clubman is the use of Shimmer Copper colour to finish the radiator grille surrounds and its upper third crossbar, as well as the side scuttles.

This is matched with the use of a tinted clear lacquer finish reminiscent of copper on its 18-inch alloy wheels. The MINI Clubman Final Edition additionally gets a graphic comprising of narrow lines along its sides, designed to accentuate its elongated body. This pattern also appears on the passenger side of the bonnet and on one of the split doors.

A shimmering 'Final Edition' text also appears on this rear door, while a '1 of 1969' badge on the car's C-pillar add the final exterior touch for the limited edition car.

In the cabin, the MINI Clubman Final Edition gets door trims complete with edition specific 'Final Edition' lettering, which is repeated on the lower spoke of the sports leather steering wheel.

MINI Yours leather sports seats with adjustable thigh support and sewn-in edition badge also feature in the cabin, finished in Dark Maroon and additionally set off by an anthracite-coloured Piquet fabric insert and blue contrasting stitching.

The car also gets a dashboard framed by trim strips finished in a matte shimmering Sage Green Dark and Shimmer Copper colour. '1 of 1969' badges also appear on the car's floor mats as well as on the passenger side of the dashboard.
