The incident happened yesterday at around 12pm, along Stamford Road, opposite the Singapore Management University's (SMU) Lee Kong Chian School of Business. Stunned passers-by looked on and took pictures of the flaming yellow supercar.

The driver, who appeared to be in his 20s, was seen fleeing the scene just minutes earlier. The SCDF confirmed the incident, saying that the Ferrari had caught fire near the junction of Stamford Road and Victoria Street.
