COE prices for Category A and B rose in the second bidding exercise for the month of April, while the Category E COE saw a fall

The biggest rise was seen in Category B, for cars of engine capacities above 1600cc. Cat B COEs went up by $1800 to end at $56,801 at the end of the bidding exercise.
Category A, for cars of engine capacities below 1600cc and for taxis, saw a slightly smaller rise, as it ended the day at $44,000, a $788 increase over the previous bidding exercise in April.
Category E COEs, which is for the Open Category, saw a significant drop, falling by $1099 to end the bidding tender at $56,001.
