We reviewed the BMW 335i Sport trim recently and loved it. Now BMW Asia has announced a similar 3 Series with a smaller powertrain. Powered by BMW’s TwinPower turbocharging technology, the new second generation four-cylinder engine has improved the new 320i by developing 184bhp and 270Nm of torque mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The new car is 20kgs lighter than its predecessor. It sprints to 100km/h faster by 2.2 seconds in just 7.6 seconds. The new BMW 320i is also highly efficient and friendly to the environment with a fuel consumption of 12.3 kmL and CO2 emissions of 139g/km.

Neil Fiorentinos, Managing Director of BMW Group Asia explains, "As the world's best-selling premium car, the BMW 3 Series has traditionally been a key volume model for BMW. With the improved sporting prowess, elegance, comfort and looks, this sixth generation BMW 3 Series is set to take the world by storm once again.”

The sixth generation 3 Series has grown in size with a wider track and increased length. The new BMW face, with flat headlights emphasizes the elegantly dynamic design of the new BMW 3 Series while inside the increase in space benefits the rear passengers.
The 320i comes standard with 17-inch multi-spoke wheels, rear Park Distance Control, electrically adjustable seats, gear shift paddles, a 8.8 inch display with 12GB memory among other extras. The new BMW 320i is now available for viewing at Performance Motors' showrooms.
