As the new year rolls around, we offer a preview of all the new car models you can expect to see in Singapore in 2018.

2017 saw the launch of numerous key models from many of the big brands, such as the new BMW 5 Series, the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class and the updated Volkswagen Golf. But the year also saw many new cars that stirred our hearts and inspired our imaginations - as our Best Cars of 2017 list fully captures.

As 2017 comes to a close, we look to the year ahead and provide you with a rundown of the new models that you can expect to see on our shores.

Alfa Romeo


Arriving: Q1 2018

The Alfa Romeo Giulia will hit our shores in early 2018. The headline model is the Giulia Quadrifoglio, a breathtakingly stunning Italian beauty that packs a 505bhp 2.9-litre Bi-turbo engine under the hood, with 0-100km/h taking just 3.8 seconds.


Arriving: Q4 2018

The Stelvio is Alfa Romeo's very first Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) offering, and aims to rewrite the rules of the premium SUV segment. Boasting sleek sheet metal, exciting handling and sublime performance, the Stelvio forges a bold path forward for the Italian brand. 

Aston Martin

DB11 V8 Coupe

Arriving: Q1 2018

Aston Martin's definitive Grand Tourer (GT) - the acclaimed DB11 - is now offered with a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine. With its lighter weight and greater poise, the V8 is set to reveal more of the DB11's sporting character, with improved efficiency and exceptional performance. 

DB11 V8 Volante

Arriving: Q2 2018

The DB11 Volante's penchant for elegance, style, performance and refinement aims to create the definitive open-top GT. Engineered to be the most advanced and complete open-top Aston Martin ever built, the DB11 Volante offers a new dimension on the DB11's breathtaking character. 


Arriving: Q3 2018

For seven decades the heartbeat of Aston Martin's purest models, the Vantage nameplate is set to return - with a sculptural and distinctive design language, increased aerodynamic downforce and potent performance, the Vantage looks to ascend to greater sports car heights. 


RS5 Coupe

Arriving: Q2 2018

The Audi RS5 Coupe is the first Audi Sport model in the new RS design idiom. It features an all new 2.9-litre Bi-turbo engine producing 444bhp and 600Nm of torque, and is able to sprint from 0-100km/h in just 3.9 seconds. 

RS4 Avant

Arriving: Q2 2018

The Audi RS4 Avant combines high performance with tremendous everyday usability. Sporting a new 2.9-litre TFSI engine with 444bhp and 600Nm of torque, this makes it the sporty vanguard of the A4 family. 

A8 L

Arriving: Q2 2018

The new Audi A8 L represents the future of the luxury class, and is also the first production automobile in the world to have been developed for conditional automated driving. It will be previewed at the 2018 Singapore Motor Show, and both V6 and V8 models will eventually be available in Singapore. 

A7 Sportback

Arriving: Q2 2018

The second generation Audi A7 Sportback embodies a new and progressive design language, with athletic proportions and a dynamic body line. The futuristic interior of the four-door GT fuses design and technology in a unique way. 


Arriving: Q4 2018

The new Q8 combines the spaciousness typical of an SUV with the emotional lines of a coupe. Dynamic, highly efficient and extremely comfortable, it is an elegant alternative to the robust presence of a classic SUV. 


Continental GT

Arriving: Q2 2018

The third generation Continental GT combines spirited, focused performance with handcrafted luxury and cutting-edge technology. At the heart of the new Continental GT sits an enhanced 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12 TSI engine, mated to a dual-clutch eight-speed transmission. 



Arriving: Q2 2018

BMW's newest addition to its SUV lineup, the X2, offers unmistakable design and sporty, urban genes. Featuring short overhangs and a coupe-style roofline, the new X2 is designed for drivers looking to fully reflect their individuality and style. 


Arriving: Q1 2018

The new X3 looks to continue the model's success in the mid-size SUV segment. Beyond cosmetic tweaks, the new X3 also features fuel economy-optimising powertrains and the extensive application of intelligent lightweight design measures.

8 Series

Arriving: Q4 2018

Previewed by the Concept 8 Series (pictured), the upcoming 8 Series is a coupe of breathtaking visual beauty, promising an effortless combination of razor-sharp dynamics and modern luxury. 

i8 Roadster

Arriving: Q4 2018

The i8 Roadster looks to offer a brand new dimension to the joy of open-top driving - a virtually silent drive with zero local emissions. The two-seater roadster features an electrically operated soft-top roof and additional on-board stowage space

i8 LCI

Arriving: Q4 2018

The upcoming facelift of the i8 Coupe, dubbed the Life Cycle Impulse (LCI), brings with it some minor exterior changes. Inside, the improved interior will have a new iDrive system. Power from the electric motor will also be bumped up slightly. 


Arriving: Q4 2018

The new second generation X4 is set to be unveiled in 2018. While details remain scarce, expect aesthetic changes, an upgraded interior and improved engine options.

The new BMW X5 will be unveiled next year, but there are no additional available details for now.

Arriving: Q1 2018

The facelifted B3 S Biturbo brings with it visual enhancements and additional power. The 3.0-litre straight-six engine now delivers 434bhp and 660Nm of torque, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-100km/h in just 4.3 seconds. 


Arriving: Q1 2018

The facelifted B4 S Biturbo's straight-six 3.0 litre engine now produces 434bhp and 660Nm of torque, while the adaptive ALPINA sport suspension and the revamped 8-Speed Sport-Automatic transmission with ALPINA SWITCH-TRONIC deliver impressive dynamics and maximum comfort.


Arriving: Q2 2018

The B5 Biturbo promises a fine combination of performance, individuality and luxury. Under the hood lies a new 4.4-litre V8 engine, delivering a maximum output of 600bhp and 800Nm of torque. 



Arriving: Q2 2018

The all new M5 will debut the M-specific AWD system, M xDrive. Under the hood, the 4.4-litre V8 engine develops 592bhp and 750Nm of torque. With its combination of power and poise, the new M5 looks to retake its crown in the super saloon segment. 



Arriving: Q2 2018

The new Cruze adopts a more muscular look headlined by the split grille front. Inside, equipment has been updated to include a 7.0-inch MyLink touchscreen infotainment system, as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities. 


C3 Aircross

Arriving: Q1 2018

With its assertive personality, unique body styling and generous forms, the new C3 Aircross is the brand's next generation compact SUV offering. With its powerful and fresh attitude, it promises total well-being on board and an extraordinary at-the-wheel experience.

C4 Cactus

Arriving: Q1 2018

The new C4 Cactus joins Citroen's continued SUV portfolio expansion. The new model has been enhanced with 12 driver assistance systems, three connectivity technologies and a revised engine lineup, with power units now developing up to 130bhp.

Grand C4 Picasso

Arriving: Q1 2018

The facelifted Grand C4 Picasso will be available next year with a PureTech 130 S&S EAT6 petrol engine. The 1.2-litre petrol engine produces 129bhp and 230Nm of torque. 


DS 5 Performance Line

Arriving: Q1 2018

The DS 5 Performance Line offers an exclusive collection of colours. The cabin features leather and Dinamica cloth seat upholstery with a DS Performance Line emblem, and coloured stitching on the door panels, gear lever and steering wheel. 

DS 7 Crossback

Arriving: Q4 2018

The DS 7 Crossback is a stylish vehicle that also takes the first step towards autonomous driving, with several innovative features to increase safety, comfort and peace of mind for both the driver and the passengers.



Arriving: Q1 2018

The four-seater GTC4Lusso combines extraordinary performance in all driving conditions, with sporty elegance and luxurious comfort for both driver and passengers alike.

GTC4Lusso T

Arriving: Q2 2018

The first four-seater in Prancing Horse history to sport a turbocharged V8 engine, the GTC4Lusso T aims to provide owners with a car that is both sporty and versatile.

As well as updates to the exterior styling and interior trim, the all new Jazz will also be available with a 128bhp 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine.

The new Odyssey's exterior form has undergone a progressive and sporty evolution, but the perenially popular MPV still offers unprecedented comfort, confidence-inspiring performance, and advanced family-friendly technology.

The latest vehicle in Hyundai's exanding vehicle lineup, the new Kona is a compact SUV that boasts uncompromised individuality and distinct style. The Kona will be available in both 1.6-litre Turbo and 1.0-litre Turbo Manual variants.

Ioniq Electric

Arriving: Q1 2018.

Following the launch of the Ioniq Hybrid in Singapore, the Ioniq Electric will make its way here in 2018. The fully-electric vehicle offers zero-emissions driving combined with daily usability and practicality. 



Arriving: Q1 2018

The facelifted Q50 features refreshed exterior and interior design, and innovative technologies designed to empower and support the driver. It is also the first Infiniti vehicle to package all driver support technologies under the ProPILOT Assist banner. 


Arriving: Q2 2018

The all new QX30 premium active crossover is highlighted by a highly sculpted exterior, unique crossover stance and asymmetric cabin design. It also offers an elevated ride height, confidence-inspiring handling, and an intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system.


Arriving: Q2 2018

Revealed at the 2017 Dubai International Motor Show, the new QX80 takes Infiniti's 'Powerful Elegance' design language in a bold new direction, creating a powerful, contemporary and commanding aesthetic.

Launching at the Singapore Motor Show, the brand new Kia Stinger represents a radical step forward for the brand. The 2.0-litre variant will be on sale, while the 3.3-litre variant will be available on an indent basis.

The Lamborghini Urus made its APAC premiere in Singapore in December 2017, a Super SUV that combines breathtaking styling, a futuristic cabin and immense performance. First deliveries of this Super SUV will begin in Q1 2018. 

Land Rover


Arriving: Q1/Q3 2018

The brand new Land Rover Discovery will be offered with two additional petrol engine options next year, a 3.0-litre petrol engine (arriving in Q1) and a 2.0-litre petrol engine (arriving in Q3). 



Arriving: Q1 2018

The all new fifth generation LS, Lexus' flagship sedan, is built on an all new global architecture for luxury vehicles. This premium rear-wheel drive platform offers a more dynamic experience on the road while further elevating renowned Lexus comfort. The car will be launched in February.


Arriving: Q1 2018

The refreshed NX features a new front fascia, and a reworked interior that exudes a sportier nature, a more luxurious feel, and with enhanced control interfaces. It is powered by a powerful and efficient 2.0-litre turbocharged engine. 



Arriving: Q1 2018

With its alluring curves and effortless power, crafted and engineered for the ultimate in exhilarating performance, the Ghibli will be available in Singapore in both standard (350bhp) and S (410bhp) forms.

Maserati's SUV offering, the Levante, will be available in Singapore this coming year in both standard and S forms.

The Quattroporte has undergone a substantial restyling that accentuates its elegance without altering its signature Maserati personality. The restyled Quattroporte represents the quintessence of Italian sports saloons. 



Arriving: Q1 2018

Cycle & Carriage is launching a passenger car under the Maxus brand. The Maxus G10 MPV is a luxury seven-seater arriving in Q1 2018, and highlights include Torino Design, auto sliding door, rear-wheel drive and a spacious cabin with 2-2-3 seating. 



Arriving:  Q2 2018

Key revisions to the facelifted Mercedes A-Class hatchback happen in the cabin, which will feature futuristic equipment such as the free-floating impression of the interior architecture, along with the new turbine-look air vents. 


Arriving:  Q4 2018

The C-Class will undergo a facelift next year, but details have been scarce. Expect the interior to be substantially updated (in line with both the A-Class and G-Class).

 CLS Coupe

Arriving: Q4 2018

The new CLS pioneers the new design idiom of Mercedes-Benz, recognisable by its clear contours and reduced lines. The four-door coupe also promises impressive long-distance and acoustic comfort coupled with thrilling, unrivalled technology.

With its completely updated interior and numerous new features, the G-Class has now undergone the most significant transformation of its almost 40-year career, in technical as well as stylistic terms. 


3 Door, 5 Door, Convertible

Arriving: Q3 2018

The core MINI range is set for a facelift in 2018, with the 3 Door, 5 Door and Convertible variants all expected to undergo some mid-cycle changes.

Eclipse Cross

Arriving: Q1 2018

The Eclipse Cross is an all new model, an SUV powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine. Key highlights include its sharp coupe looks and muscular SUV stance, as well as its advanced levels of connectivity and all-wheel control technology. 


Insignia Grand Sport

The new Open Insignia Grand Sport is based on a completely new vehicle architecture. New, high-tech features include an AWD system with torque vectoring and a new eight-speed automatic transmission. 

Insignia Sports Tourer

The all new Insignia Sports Tourer is uncompromisingly spacious and offers exemplary safety just like a true flagship should. Trunk volume has been increased to 1,640 litres, while the car features high-tech solutions including a range of driver assistance systems.

The new Grandland X is Opel's latest SUV offering. With a design that blends elegance with ruggedness, the Grandland X offers customers a raised seating position, good all-round visibility and plenty of luggage space.


Peugeot 5008

The new 5008 seven-seater SUV includes the latest version of the outstanding Peugeot i-Cockpit, Efficient Modular Platform 2, and a plethora of high-tech features that enhance comfort and safety.


Panamera E-Hybrid

Arriving: Q1 2018

The new generation Porsche Panamera will soon be available with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, delivering improved efficiency, extra range and augmented performance. 

Panamera Sport Turismo

Arriving: Q1 2018

Debuting at the 2018 Singapore Motor Show, the Panamera Sport Turismo makes a profound statement with its unmistakeable design. The Sport Turismo features a large tailgate, low loading edge, increased luggage compartment volume and a 4+1 seating concept. 

911 GT3

Arriving: Q1 2018

The new 911 GT3 offers motorsport-like performance, with its systematic lightweight construction, 500bhp naturally aspirated 4.0-litre engine and rear-axle steering delivering an unfiltered driving experience.

718 GTS

The all new Scenic will arrive in Singapore next year, an iconic model carries over the hallmarks of versatility, space, user-friendliness, and travelling enjoyment. The Scenic also features a wide range of new safety technologies. 

Megane RS

Arriving: Q2 2018

Renault's latest hot hatch offering, the third generation Megane RS, packs a new turbocharged 1.8-litre engine delivering 275bhp and 390Nm of torque. It also features four-wheel steering, a global segment first.

The new Rolls-Royce Phantom will arrive in the Singapore showroom early next year. It is built on an all new aluminium 'Architecture of Luxury' platform, further enabling the new Phantom to be lighter, stiffer and quieter.

Toyota's Prius+ MPV will be available in Singapore next year, offering a blend of family utility and hybrid efficiency. The hybrid MPV features a CVT transmission that offers linear acceleration and greater efficiency.

The Alphard and Vellfire will undergo a facelift next year, with the mid-cycle update likely focusing on improving cabin comfort and equipment, along with introducing the latest safety systems.

The Arteon combines the space of a sedan with the styling and performance of a sports car. It features the 4MOTION permanent AWD system as well as the latest generation of Dynamic Chassis Control. The car will be launched on the first week of January.

Beetle Cabriolet

Arriving: Q1 2018

The convertible version of the Beetle is back with redesigned front and rear bumpers - these give the Beetle Cabriolet an even sportier look with a broader appearance. 


Arriving: Q3 2018

The sixth generation Polo has been completely redesigned, with a new exterior design and a more spacious interior. Boot volume has been significantly increased from 280 litres to 351 litres. The Polo will be available with a 1.0-litre turbocharged TSI engine. 



Arriving: Q1 2018

The XC40 is Volvo first entry into the compact luxury SUV segment. With a broad, playful palette of exterior and interior colour choices, the XC40 looks to inject vibrancy, individuality and playfulness into its segment.
