As 2018 comes to a close, we preview all the new car models that are set to be launched here in Singapore in the upcoming year.

These days, it's hard to find a genuinely terrible car. The standards of car manufacturing have improved so much that most cars are fundamentally solid. That said, it's still pleasantly surprising when the unexpected happens. Case in point - the Kia Stinger, our Car of the Year 2018, a car that defied all of our expectations.

As 2018 comes to a close, we provide you with a rundown of all the new models you can expect to be launched in Singapore next year. Perhaps, one (or more) of the cars on this list will surprise us next year.

Alfa Romeo


Arriving: Q1 2019

The full model range of Alfa Romeo's first ever production SUV will be available in Singapore. On top of the Super and Veloce variants, the headlining variant is the Quadrifoglio, powered by the 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 engine also found in the Giulia.



Arriving: Q1 2019

The A110 takes inspiration from a model manufactured over 50 years ago, and places a keen focus on lightness and dynamism. The Alpine A110 will arrive in January for the Singapore Motor Show, and will be distributed by Wearnes Automotive. 


DBS Superleggera

Arriving: Q1 2019

The brand new DBS Superleggera, the British marque's new GT flagship, combines flamboyant style, a highly crafted cabin and extreme performance. Power is derived from a 5.2-litre V12 engine, sending 715bhp and 900Nm of torque to the rear wheels. 


A1 Sportback

Arriving: Q3 2019

The second generation of Audi's compact car, the A1, features a sporty and aggressive exterior design. The A1 also delivers additional practicality, and comes equipped with a wealth of technology, with many driver assistance systems that come from the full-size class. 

A4 Sedan and Avant

Arriving: Q1 2019

A lightly refreshed version of Audi's popular compact executive sedan will be available next year in both Sedan and Avant body styles. New trapezoidal exhaust pipes will be equipped at either end of the rear bumper. The refreshed A4 will be available with a powerful yet fuel efficient 2.0-litre TFSI engine. 


Arriving: Q1 2019

The new Audi A6 draws on interior concepts that debut in the A8 flagship, and features the latest interation of Audi's virtual cockpit paired to a MMI touch response interace. The A6 will be launched with a powerful 3.0-litre engine and quattro all-wheel drive as standard. 


Arriving: Q3 2019

Audi's first ever fully-electric SUV marks a new chapter for the brand, boasting the latest in vehicle development and technologies. When it is launched in Singapore, the brand will also introduce charging on demand, an innovative new concept to ensure that the e-tron driver is always mobile.


Arriving: Q3 2019

The new Audi Q3 brings with it a more striking design, a roomier cabin and a more versatile driving experience. It offers technical refinements from the full-size segment. The new Q3 will be previewed at the upcoming Singapore Motor Show, and will be launched in the second half of 2019.

TT Coupe and Roadster

Arriving: Q3 2019

The latest generation TT range has been further refined, with a sharper and more sporty deisgn headlined by a new three-dimensional Singleframe radiator grille and larger air intakes. The engine range will start with a 2.0-litre TFSI engine. Both the Coupe and Roadster variants will be launched in the second half of 2019. 


Continental GT Convertible

Arriving: Q3 2019

The new Continental GT Convertible takes the exhilaration of open-air grand touring to thrilling new heights. Boasting a streamlined roof design, a meticulously handcrafted interior and a wealth of technology, the Continental GT Convertible sets new standards in craftsmanship.


1 Series

Arriving: Q4 2019

The third generation BMW 1 Series, developed from the ground up, will be launched in 2019. More details will be available when the car is unveiled next year.

3 Series

Arriving: Q2 2019

The brand new seventh generation G20 3 Series will make its way to our shores next year, a car that makes significant improvements in terms of design, driving dynamics and technology. The 330i will be available at launch, with additional variants expected later in the year.

8 Series Coupe

Arriving: Q1 2019

The new 8 Series Coupe, combining emotion-stirring design, state-of-the-art luxury, advanced technological equipment and outstanding dynamic performance, sits atop the brand's core model lineup. 

8 Series Convertible

Arriving: Q2 2019

The second available variant in the 8 Series lineup is the Convertible, an open-top sports car that explores the highest reaches of dynamic flair, emotionality and exclusivity. The fully automatic soft-top opens and closes in 15 seconds, at speeds of up to 50km/h.

i3 and i3s 120Ah

Arriving: Q2 2019

The i3 and i3s has been updated with a larger capacity 120Ah battery, delivering additional range for the brand's all-electric compact hatchback offering. 


Arriving Q1 2019

The fourth generation BMW X5 will be launched at the Singapore Motor Show. The all new X5 promises an even greater blend of premium luxury performance and comfort, state-of-the-art technology, and ample daily practicality. At launch, the X5 xDrive40i will be available. 


Arriving: Q2 2019

BMW's top-of-the-range SUV, the X7, will make its way to Singapore next year. Launched just recently at the Los Angeles Motor Show, the X7 is the latest and largest model in the BMW X lineup that fuses presence, exclusivity, spaciousness and luxury.


Arriving: Q2 2019

The premium open-top sports car features a classic fabric soft-top, an emotion-packed body design and a pure, driver-focused interior. Three variants of the Z4 - the M40i, sDrive30i and sDrive20i - are expected to be available in Singapore.


B5 Bi-Turbo Touring

Arriving: Q1 2019

The B5 Bi-Turbo Touring offers a unique combination of comfort, luxury and ultra-high performance. Powered by a 4.4-litre V8 engine producing 599bhp and 800Nm of torque, the car is capable of a top speed of 322km/h, making it the fastest production estate car in the world.


M2 Competition

Arriving: Q1 2019

The new BMW M2 Competition features a wealth of improvements that sets a high benchmark in the compact high-performance sports car segment. Key to these improvements is the 404bhp S55 twin-turbo 3.0-litre engine and a new cooling system.

M5 Competition

Arriving: Q1 2019

With increased power, optimised styling and aerodynamics, changes to the chassis and tuning, the M5 Competition is a more focused and hardcore version of the M5 Saloon. This enhanced performance accelerates the super saloon from zero to 100km/h in just 3.3 seconds.


C5 Aircross

Arriving: Q2 2019

The C5 Aircross is Citroen's new flagship SUV, combining a unique and assertive personality, extensive driver assistance, and extreme comfort. The C5 Aircross will be launched with a 1.6-litre PureTech engine with 178bhp and 240Nm of torque.


DS 7 Crossback

Arriving: Q1 2019

The DS 7 Crossback, the first of a new generation of DS vehicles, will be launched at the Singapore Motor Show, and will be offered with a 1.6-litre PureTech engine developing 222bhp and 300Nm of torque.


Mustang 2.3 EcoBoost Premium Coupe

Arriving: Q1 2019

A refreshed Ford Mustang will be available in Singapore with a 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine, a new 10-speed automatic transmission, a mildly restyled exterior, an optional fully digital LCD instrument cluster, and a range of additional customisation options.



Arriving: Q3 2019

The new Honda Accord will be available in Singapore next year. While local specifications are not available, the car is offered globally with either a turbocharged 1.5-litre or 2.0-litre engine, and Honda Sensing as standard. 



Arriving: Q1 2019

The facelifted Avante will be launched at the Singapore Motor Show, featuring a new exterior look, new safety features and a revised infotainment system. Three trims are available locally - Avante 1.6 Auto, Avante 1.6 Auto 'S' and Avante 1.6 'Elite'.

i30 N

Arriving: Q1 2019

Powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired to a six-speed manual transmission, Hyundai's brand new hot hatch offering is set to deliver scintillating performance and dynamism. The i30 N will be officially launched at the upcoming Singapore Motor Show. 

Kona Electric

Arriving: Q1 2019

An all electric variant of Hyundai's lovable Kona compact crossover will be launched at the upcoming Motor Show. It will be available locally in three trims - Kona Electric (Standard), Kona Electric (Long Range), and Kona Electric Sunroof (Long Range).



Arriving: Q1 2019

The brand new Infiniti QX50 luxury crossover will be launched at the upcoming Singapore Motor Show. It is powered by the brand's new 2.0-litre VC-Turbo engine, and is the first production vehicle ever to feature an engine with variable compression.



Arriving: Q1 2019

An additional variant of the Jaguar E-PACE compact SUV will be launched in Singapore next year. The downtuned turbocharged 2.0-litre engine produces 197bhp and 320Nm of torque. This new model will be the most affordable variant on offer.


Arriving: Q1 2019

The brand new Jaguar I-PACE is the brand's first all-electric SUV offering. It has two electric motors that produce a combined 400bhp and 696Nm of torque, while the 90kWh battery means that the car is capable of up to 480km of range.


Aventador SVJ Coupe

Arriving: Q1 2019

With its distillation of extraordinary design, groundbreaking technologies and the ultimate in handling, performance and driver enjoyment, the Aventador SVJ aims to deliver the most intense Lamborghini experience possible. The car currently holds the Nurburgring lap time record for production vehicles.

Land Rover

Range Rover Evoque

Arriving: Q3 2019

The second generation Range Rover Evoque brings a wealth of upgrades to the brand's compact luxury crossover. Built on an all new architecture, the car sets new standards of refinement, capability and sustainability. 

Range Rover Sport PHEV

Arriving: Q1 2019

The Range Rover Sport PHEV uses advanced plug-in hybrid electric vehicle technology, combining a 85kW electric motor and a 296bhp 2.0-litre Ingenium petrol engine to produce a combined 398bhp and 640Nm of torque.



Arriving: Q1 2019

Launching at the upcoming Singapore Motor Show, the Lexus UX will be offered in two variants, the UX 200 powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine, as well as the UX 250h, which pairs the 2.0-litre engine with a new fourth generation hybrid drive system. The car is now available for preview at the Lexus Boutique.


Arriving: Q4 2019

The Lexus RX mid-size SUV will undergo a light refresh at the tail end of 2019, with a more sophisticated and aggressive design. More details will be made available next year.

Ghibli and Ghibli S GranSport

Arriving: Q1 2019

The updated Maserati Ghibli GranSport and Ghibli S GranSport will be available next year, featuring more powerful engines, a restyled exterior and additional equipment inside the cabin.

GranTurismo and GranCabrio

Arriving: Q1 2019

Updated versions of the Maserati GranTurismo and GranCabrio will also be available in 2019, featuring revised aerodynamics on the outside and new technology in the cabin. Power is still drawn from a 4.7-lire V8 engine developing 453bhp and 520Nm of torque.

Levante Trofeo

Arriving: Q4

The new Levante Trofeo is built around a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 engine producing 582bhp and 730Nm of peak torque, the highest output per litre of any Maserati powerplant ever produced. The chassis has also been tuned to handle the additional power and provide an exhilarating driving experience.

Quattroporte GranSport & GranLusso, and GTS GranSport

Arriving: Q1 2019

The updated Maserati Quattroporte will feature additional technology, new safety equipment and revised powertrains. It will be available in highly customisable GranSport and GranLusso trims. A GTS variant, powered by a 523bhp V8 engine, will also be available.


A-Class Saloon

Arriving: TBC

Following the recent launch of the new A-Class hatchback, a Saloon variant will be offered next year. It will have modern, efficient engines, state-of-the-art driving assistance systems, and the intuitive and intelligent Mercedes-Benz User Experience infotainment system.

AMG GT 4-door Coupe

Arriving: TBC

Exuding power, energy and emotion, the AMG GT 4-door Coupe is a spacious four-door car with an imposing on-road presence, while also being agile, dynamic and light on its feet. 


Arriving: Q2 2019

The brand new B-Class has a significantly more dynamic design, improved agility and comfort on the road, as well as Mercedes's latest technology, safety and driver assistance systems. 


Arriving: TBC

The new second generation CLA-Class is set to be unveiled at next year's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, U.S.A.

The exterior design of the new second generation G-Class retains many of its unique features and characteristics of the original, but the cabin is heavily modernised to deliver improved quality, comfort and technology.


Arriving: TBC

The facelifted Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class will be unveiled in 2019. While exact details are not currently available, expect a revised exterior design, and new technology and equipment in the cabin.

The new GLE SUV features a wealth of improvements, including Mercedes' Intelligent Drive, a reworked exterior design and a more high-tech cabin. Additionally, the car has grown bigger, delivering more cabin space for passengers. 


Countryman Dartmoor Edition

Arriving: Q1 2019

Stay tuned for more details of a special 'Dartmoor Edition' of the MINI Countryman, with exact specifications to be announced next year.

Cooper 60 Years Edition

Arriving: Q2

A special '60 Years Edition' MINI Cooper will be introduced to the Singapore market next year, to celebrate the brand's 60th anniversary. More details will be made available next year.

Arriving: Q4

The current generation MINI Clubman is due for a mid-cycle update, set to be revealed next year. Expect additional equipment, a light styling change, as well as a dual-clutch transmission (in line with the rest of the model lineup).

Arriving: Q2 2019

The second generation all-electric Nissan Leaf will have a range of more than 300km, and is also equipped with advanced technologies including intelligent Emergency Braking, Intelligent Around View Monitor as well as the latest e-Pedal.


3008 1.6 PureTech EAT8

Arriving: Q2 2019

The Peugeot 3008 SUV will be offered with an additional engine variant, a turbocharged 1.6-litre petrol engine producing 181bhp and 250Nm of torque. It will be paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission. 

5008 1.6 PureTech EAT8

Arriving: Q2 2019

Similarly, the 5008 SUV will also be offered with a turbocharged 1.6-litre petrol engine with 181bhp and 250Nm of torque, paired to a new eight-speed automatic transmission.

508 Fastback 

Arriving: Q4 2019

The brand new Peugeot 508 Fastback combines a bold new low coupe design with the enhanced practicality of five doors, while also having a high-quality cabin. In Singapore, the car will be launched with a turbocharged 1.6-litre engine. 

508 SW

Arriving: Q4 2019

The new 508 will also been offered in an estate body style, with the 508 SW boasting an extremely dynamic body shape, stylised by smooth, flowing lines and a sleek, low roof.



Arriving: Q1 2019

The brand new Porsche Macan SUV will be launched at the Singapore Motor Show. The car has been significantly enhanced in terms of its design, comfort, connectivity and driving dynamics.


Arriving: Q2 2019

The brand new 911 has a more muscular look and a completely new interior layout, as well as more power from the turbocharged flat-six engines and a eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The car also comes with an extensive range of new driver assistance systems. 



Arriving: Q1 2019

The Renault Kadjar has been refreshed for 2019, with subtle updates to the exterior, an upgraded interior with a redesigned centre console. The car will be launched with a new turbocharged 1.3-litre petrol engine, and will be available in two variants.  


CUPRA Ateca 

Arriving: Q2 2019

CUPRA is now a new standalone performance sub-brand under SEAT, and the first model to be launched is the CUPRA Ateca. It is a high-performance SUV that marks the beginning of a new era for the brand. 


Arriving: Q3 2019

The new Tarraco, a seven-seater SUV, is the brand's largest SUV offering, delivering great flexibility for customers. The brand's new flagship model mixes state-of-the-art technology, dynamic, agile handling, practicality and functionality with an elegant, progressive design.


Forester e-Boxer

Arriving: Q1 2019

A mild hybrid variant of the Forester combines a 2.0-litre engine with an electric motor, producing a combined output of 156bhp and 253Nm of torque. The Forester e-Boxer will be launched at the 2019 Singapore Motor Show.



Arriving: Q1 2019

The facelifted S-Cross features a newly designed front end, more efficient LED head lights, as well as a punchy 1.4-litre Boosterjet turbocharged engine, paired to a six-speed automatic transmission as standard.


Arriving: Q2 2019

The fourth generation Jimny, Suzuki's small SUV offering boasting off-road capabilities, will be available next year. It will be offered in both single-tone and two-tone colours, and will have a straightforward, practical and down-to-earth interior.



Arriving: Q1 2019

The brand new Volkswagen Touareg, equipped with progressive technologies, advanced safety systems and enhanced driving dynamics, is the brand's new flagship model. The car will be launched with a 3.0-litre engine, and will be offered in two trim levels.



Arriving: Q3 2019

The brand's new mid-size premium sports saloon offers extensive safety and driver assistance systems, as well as a wealth of cabin technology. Additionally, the new S60 is the first Volvo car to be sold without a diesel offering. 


Arriving: Q3 2019

The Scalable Product Architecture platform-based V60 introduces a new standard to the mid-size premium estate segment with a luxurious interior, increased levels of space, advanced connectivity, and the brand's latest driver assistance and safety systems.
