In a perfect world, every car owner would love to have 10 incident-free years of driving their car. No accidents, no midnight scrapes, no insurance claims, nothing to worry about at all.
However, that's just rarely the case. As many of us have seen on videos posted on social media, driving incidents are not uncommon. For peace of mind and to ensure the availability of indisputable evidence, dashboard cameras (dash cams) have become a must-have accessory for car owners.
Whether it's allowing you to record footage while your vehicle is parked to ensure its protection or capturing footage in the case of an on-road incident, dash cam footage allows you to have indisputable evidence when you need it.
In this field, Thinkware has been an industry leader, with its extensive range of dash cams suited to every driver's needs. With a strong emphasis on innovative technology, excellent quality control, long-term reliability, as well as stellar customer service, Thinkware dash cams have become a must-have accessory for many drivers.
Now, Thinkware has launched its newest product - the new Thinkware T700.
4G connectivity
The key feature of the new Thinkware T700 is its built-in 4G LTE connectivity. This enables a multitude of features that give you real-time information about your vehicle. The Remote Live View function allows you to remotely view your vehicle in both Continuous Recording Mode and Parking Mode. This gives you real time information about your vehicle's location and surroundings, no matter where you are.
Find your car easily
With a 4G LTE connection, the T700 will capture an image of the most recent parking location when the dash cam is in Parking Mode. This shows you the exact location and surroundings of your vehicle and is useful if you forget where you parked your car, or are struggling to find it in a big, complicated carpark like Marina Square or Suntec City.
Incident notification
In Parking Mode, the T700 can also immediately detect an impact and show you a real-time parking impact video. This can be very helpful in allowing you to immediately assess the situation and take any necessary measures, such as immediately dealing with the other party.
Real-time driving information
Beyond real-time parking information, the T700's 4G LTE connectivity also allows it to capture and display real-time driving information. Thus, you can check your driving history including date, time, distance, route and driving behaviour. Also, you can remotely check the status of your vehicle's battery, and remotely turn off the dash cam when the battery voltage is low.
In the case of an accident, the T700 is also able to send an emergency message to registered contacts. This can be extremely useful in the unfortunate case of a significant accident, where the driver is unable to use his phone to contact a family member.
Tip-top technology
Of course, the T700 also features advanced technology to deliver outstanding capability. The Super Night Vision allows the dash cam to record clear and visible videos in Parking Mode, even in low light conditions.
The Energy Saving Mode helps the dash cam to reduce power consumption and provide three times longer video recording than in Parking Mode. In Energy Saving Mode, features like Send Emergency Message and Captured Image of Most Recent Parking are still available.
The T700 is also able to capture videos in Time Lapse Mode, significantly reducing the size of video files. Compared to other dash cams, video recordings captured in Time Lapse Mode can continue to up to 16 times longer.
The T700's internal GPS, together with its Safety Camera Alert function, helps to provide location information and warn the driver of red light and speed cameras. Additionally, it is equipped with the Lane Departure Warning System, Front Collision Warning System, Urban Front Collision Warning System and Front Vehicle Departure Warning. These systems use the T700's camera to ensure driver safety, as well as to cultivate safe driving habits.
