Review My car uses an odd size: 235/45/R18 so choices are limited. The usual suspects (Michelins and Bridgestones etc) all cost significantly more. Only the Kumho Ventus Prime and Westlake SA07 cost less. Immediately noticed reduced noise compared to my worn Yokohama OEM dB E70 tyres. Tramlining has stopped and the steering feel is sharper.
What I like Good noise level for a performance tyre
No more tramlining
Wet grip seems superior (hard to tell as not pushing hard on new tyres)
Rim protector
What I do not like Ride could be a bit more absorbent but then the handling would be worse... this compromise is acceptable.
I installed this on
Suzuki Kizashi
