An awesome amplifier that I have this powering two 10" Polk Subs and it does it just nice! It has good mounting and I love the remote sub controls that it has, which makes controlling the sound easier. I love the consistent power which makes you feel comfortable with it and you will feel solid and the good quality of it! It gets pretty warm but nothing excessive.

What I like
It has good mounting and I love the remote sub controls that it has, which makes controlling the sound easier.

What I do not like
It get pretty warm sometimes.

The D8500 is a winner in my books. It's compact but delivers awesome amounts of power that make my Alpine subs boom with bass so loud people start to stare at me. It delivers consistent power to my subs and frankly, I've never had a sub this powerful before. Gets a little hot at times but never overheats. A definite must buy amp!

What I like
Supplies consistent and amazing amounts of power to the subs to make them pound; small and compact; pretty cheap; doesn't have the overheating issues some earlier models had

What I do not like
Gets very hot sometimes

It's distortion free and it keeps my power hungry JBL subwoofers more than amply supplied with clean power to make them kick hard and go loud. It feels solid and good quality, and it's compact enough to hide below my seat.

The one big issue is how hot it gets. It doesn't overheat but it just gets damn hot. I can actually feel the heat through my car seat.

I'm using another amp for my speakers as it wasn't enough to keep my JBL subs well supplied with power. I got this one and when I turned it on, my JBL subs boomed like never before! The power is clean and distortion free, which made my subwoofers kick hard with super tight bass and now they can go very loud. This amp has never had a overheating issue as well.
