Review
Have been using it for 15000km ++ and sold it off, thread left about 75 % Due to it's 205 profile cause my fuel drop by 5 - 10% Due to drag compare to Honda jazz OEM tyre. Later I changed to Yokohama AE-01 with 195 Profile
A Lot of review stating it is good tyre blah blah blah, but i don't really feel much different in term of stability, noise level, comfort and control.
Not really feel it is justify the price of $40 dollar different ask compare to AE01
What I like
Ok if you want to pay more for the brand
What I do not like
drag the car and not really feel it give better traction although traction rate is "AA"
Good grippy quiet tyres, but high wear rate. | Posted on 27 Sep 2024 |

Bought CPC5 tyres to replace my near-new GY "Excellence" tyres that came with my car. I was concerned about the "C" wet grip rating on the GY tyres and the CPC5 tyres were rated "A" - it gave me peace of mind every time I drove through heavy rains. I have driven 20000km on it and soon I will have to change it once I have covered another 5000km or so when it is estimated to hit the 3mm thread depth that Continental recommends a tyre change at, to maintain good wet braking capability. Note: Continental has released the CPC6, the successor to this model but only for 16" wheels or bigger.
What I like
Feels grippy on dry and wet road. Have never slipped for any reason. Amazed me once by stopping my car in a very short distance on dry road, averting an accident. Very quiet vs my previous GY tyres, but noisier when old.
What I do not like
High rolling resistance.
High thread wear! 5000km eats away approx. 1mm on S'pore roads.
Pricing may seem quite affordable at first, but once you factor in the high thread wear they are as pricey as Pirellis or Michellins.

Replaced all my 4 tyres with brand new Continental CPC5 tyres at a very good price (below $100 each)! Ride feels smoother and quiet definitely.
What I like
Tyres look great with the full name clearly printed all around and I must say the colorful lines on the new tyres give a good piece of mind too!
Amazing tires for the price | Posted on 27 Sep 2024 |

My previous C1S were left about 30% But decided to switch since there's a promotion.
The ride became softer and quieter right away. The C1S is known to be soft throughout its lifespan. Noise picked up a little towards the end.
The CPC5 seems to have pressed the mute button in the cabin.
The ride is soft. Even at 240 kpa the car feels like it's riding on 4 pillows.
What I like
Quiet. Comfort. Good looking sidewall and thread design. Asymmetrical thread.
What I do not like
A tad too soft.

Review
The design is nice and hold is good. But d
Noticed that the edge of the tyres wear out faster (not due to lack of air pressure) so end up you have to change the tyres even though it's still pretty new. Have used other Brand's tyres which wear more evenly.
What I like
Brand name is strong. Design is nice and pretty quiet
What I do not like
Wear out fast especially the edge.

Switch from Yoko blue earth-A (50% Worn) to this and the difference is immediate (noise wise), Side wall is bit rounder good to protect your rim as well. Yoko blueearth-A is already all round performer but I think CPC5 is a few notch better at the same price I pay for yoko 2 years ago.
What I like
Quiet and comfort tire, Good price consider it's made in EU. slight rounded sidewall good protecting rim is accidentally hit kerb!
What I do not like
So far so good, none.
