Sounds better when you say it in Italian, but the English translation - 'four-door' - is more helpful in explaining it. Basically a big, cool, Ferrari-powered saloon. Respect.
Very literal naming system from Maserati here - Quattroporte simply means 'four-door'. So take it as read, this is the Italian manufacturer's performance saloon. And very good it is too.
