Chevrolet -Orlando -A Surprising Car
After driving for more than 5k km, think ready to comment:
The drive is surprisingly fun but suspension is one solid ‘Sports mode’. You can feel every shape of the road, bumps and unevenness. Heard others say it will soften after 15k km?
Despite Korean made, car feels continental and not lightweight like Japanese. Need to make mental adjustment having driven Japanese makes for years. The false sense of safety in a cocooned cage, especially at high speed and you don’T feel it … Till braking when it's like a huge tank coming a stop.
Also need to change driving habits for a longer car (but turning radius is surprisingly OK) with huge ears (side mirrors).
No adjustment for 2nd row is OK as we hardly need to adjust it (come to think of it, also true for our old Japanese MPV which was adjustable), and the longer body gives more room for the rear seat and a flip up seat that gives easier access to rear.... Read More
Chevrolet -Orlando -Good Choice for 7 Seater MPV!!
This is the first time I write review to share my experiences.
I have been searching for 7 Seater MPV quite a while as kids are getting bigger. Comparing many brands and models like Toyota Wish, Honda Freed, Mitsubishi Outlander, Mazda 5, Citron Grand Picasso C4, and KIA Carens, my perference was Japan make car as I drove Nissan, Toyota and Mitsubishi before.
My first choice was Mitsubishi Outlander and second choice Citron Grand Picasso C4. I need to admit that I didn't even put Chevrolet in my comparison list before. But then after seeing Chevrolet Orlando Adv on Newspaper and test drive done, I found hidden gem of value for money, well balanced MPV that meet my budget, my criteria and my family need.
After driving over 15,000 Km experience, my family really enjoy the comfort and quieter ride. I can feel that less drifting while curving, effortless in cruising, higher road view feel safer in driving.
It is worth to consider and test drive if you are looking for MPV.... Read More
