After driving for more than 5k km, think ready to comment:
The drive is surprisingly fun but suspension is one solid ‘Sports mode’. You can feel every shape of the road, bumps and unevenness. Heard others say it will soften after 15k km?
Despite Korean made, car feels continental and not lightweight like Japanese. Need to make mental adjustment having driven Japanese makes for years. The false sense of safety in a cocooned cage, especially at high speed and you don’T feel it … Till braking when it's like a huge tank coming a stop.
Also need to change driving habits for a longer car (but turning radius is surprisingly OK) with huge ears (side mirrors).
No adjustment for 2nd row is OK as we hardly need to adjust it (come to think of it, also true for our old Japanese MPV which was adjustable), and the longer body gives more room for the rear seat and a flip up seat that gives easier access to rear.

This is the first time I write review to share my experiences.
I have been searching for 7 Seater MPV quite a while as kids are getting bigger. Comparing many brands and models like Toyota Wish, Honda Freed, Mitsubishi Outlander, Mazda 5, Citron Grand Picasso C4, and KIA Carens, my perference was Japan make car as I drove Nissan, Toyota and Mitsubishi before.
My first choice was Mitsubishi Outlander and second choice Citron Grand Picasso C4. I need to admit that I didn't even put Chevrolet in my comparison list before. But then after seeing Chevrolet Orlando Adv on Newspaper and test drive done, I found hidden gem of value for money, well balanced MPV that meet my budget, my criteria and my family need.
After driving over 15,000 Km experience, my family really enjoy the comfort and quieter ride. I can feel that less drifting while curving, effortless in cruising, higher road view feel safer in driving.
It is worth to consider and test drive if you are looking for MPV.

This review done on 1 hr drive after getting the car and compared to Kia Carens test drive.
Bought this car and its the one thats within my budget and overall calculation base on 10 years ownership, it is saving me between easily 10k for my needs compared to Kia Carens 1.7 diesel turbo.
Kia Carens had 304 NM torque vs 200 Nm on Orlando 1.4T, This was apparent at the short climb at the entrance of Labrado park then turn ride, don't know whats its exact name. Just 1 day after i got my ride, i tested this hill climb and it does seems working a little harder. But how many climb like this do you need to do every year?
Interior, seems ok to me, while Carens is a little more posh also with the center console that comes with it.
FC wise, not a good comparison now since we know Kia should do better and cheaper for its diesel pump.
Kia caren does seems to have better ride quality, less bumpy as all mpv does.
OVerall, this car fits my budget for 10 years ownership and served its purposes for a family of 5 where occasionally needs to ferry 1 more passenger for long trips.
Now its really about what problem it will give after some time as Its not a japan made.

Been driving the car for the past few days and I'm happy to say that I'm very satisfied with the experience thus far.
-Powerful 1.4 turbo engine,
-Leather seats,
-Large bootspace when the last row is knocked down,
-Minimal body roll,
-Taller driving position
Just make sure you get those round blindspot mirrors to assist with parking. I've yet to be able to tell the FC for this car since I'm still on my 1st tank.

Hi All,
If you are looking for MPV, you may like to consider Chevrolet Orlando.
Test it to believe the comfort level.
I own a Honda Stream RSZ previously and Orlando is my second ride.
Love it so much.

... If you're looking for a Premium Luxury Vehicle, this is definitely not for you.
The Orlando is very well poised, and balanced i.E. (Handling / Value / Performance / Styling / Functionality).
It is surprisingly nimble, and with a revised 2014 1.4L Turbo, it can quite easily out-maneuvre and perform its peers, despite being heavier.
Like a Draft Horse that was designed and built with one purpose in mind... 'pull'.

Having driven the car for 5000km already, I must say that it is a workhorse that I can rely on. I have to admit that it wasn't love at first sight when I saw the car. Was contemplating the Vezel or V40, but due to family needs, I decided to get this instead. It was also one of the lowest priced MPV then and the 1.4l turbo engine impressed me with its pickup. The car felt very stable when driven at 90kmh and I have the confidence to go around corners at very high speed. The steering also felt solid and not too light. Fuel consumption is also acceptable considering that I have a heavy right foot. Third row of space is still acceptable to fetch my younger sister and mother, although I don't think it would be that comfortable on a road trip.

This is a first MPV I own after owning 2 other cars. I got my new Orlando before the CNY this year and have clock about 1,500 km now (OPC).
I took it up to Malacca with 5 adults and a two year old child after the first servicing and was really impressed with the comfort level (maybe it's still new). This car although it's a 1.4l car but the power is adequate for overtaking on the highway (thanks to the turbo charger).
Interior is nice but one negative aspect is the boots space is really narrow when all the seats are up. Overall I am satisfied with this buy and I would like to recommend any one who is looking to buy a MPV to put this car in your to view list.
I have view a few others MPVs before but are drawn to the Orlando as I found that it's the most economical MPV Around.

Previous i drive Toyota Wish for 6 and half years with no give me any problem.
after i change to Orlando every year give me problem.
Orlando using battery compare to Wish is a lot of different ,my wish battery can last for 2 years,Orlando only 13 month due to they have a lot of electric use.
The problem is the work shop never inform when i send in for servicing .The battery dead timing is 2 weeks after servicing .
The 2nd year is same, the battery dead again at outside and the brake have sound due to brake pad gone. This also happen after servicing 3 weeks later .
Just wanna why the service center never check that for me.
And 3rd year the water tank broke when i drive on the way home on PIE ,but lucky this under warranty they change for me .
3rd years the engine got jerking problem when cruising around 60km ,but the service center unable to find out the problem till now they said the warranty finish :-(
So sad that the authorize service center couldn't find out their vehicle problem

My second Chevrolet car. One of the most bang for the bucks MPV you can find in Singapore. Small engine with good power and good fuel efficiency. Lower road tax and insurance. Having start stop engine system and direct injection system will be better. Reliablity is a question though.
