More enjoyable high-definition in-car entertainment for all occupants during long-distance trips, with Pioneer's latest digital TV tuner.

Nothing helps to keep the kids entertained or liven up endless kilometres on the road like some solid in-car entertainment. And there are only so many times you can rewatch episodes of Friends or How I Met Your Mother on DVD.

Watch TV shows on the go in the comfort of your car
Mobile television (TV) adds some much-needed variety and fresh programming to the mix, allowing you keep up with your latest serial dramas, catch up on the news, and even watch variety programmes on the go. With Pioneer's latest TV receiver, the GEX-2850DVB2, you can enjoy high-definition video broadcast right in the comfort of your car.

Pioneer Dual Diversity DVB-T2 TV Receiver

The Pioneer Dual Diversity DVB-T2 TV Receiver (GEX-2850DVB2) is the company's most recently launched TV receiver, powered by a dual-diversity chipset for stable reception over a longer distance and at high speeds. It has been successfully tested by Pioneer at a range of up to 80km from the broadcasting station, with the car travelling at up to speeds of 140km/h. The stable TV reception is available in all of Singapore and southern Johor.

The Pioneer Dual Diversity DVB-T2 offers superior video and audio performance, supporting up to 1080p high-definition (HD) video playback, allowing you to watch six HD channels via Mediacorp's latest DVB-T2 broadcast. The receiver also supports FLAC, H.264, Xvid and MKV formats. The receiver can be easily connected to any head unit via an AUX or HDMI connection

Also, never miss a TV show, as the receiver can directly record TV programmes to a USB storage device, even when the car's engine is switched off. So if you need to queue up multiple episodes of your favourite Taiwanese drama in preparation for a long trip up North, the pioneer Dual Diversity DVB-T2 TV Receiver will allow you to do so.

Besides the standard remote control, the receiver is also controllable using the touchscreen on compatible Pioneer Multimedia Receivers when connected through Pioneer's proprietary RGB interface.

Light and compact, the Pioneer Dual Diversity DVB-T2 TV Receiver can be conveniently installed in the glove compartment or under the front passenger's seat.

The Pioneer HD DVB-T2 TV Tuner (GEX-1750DVB2) is retailing at $549 and it comes with a one-year warranty. It is available at all Pioneer authorised retailers.
