The Germans, particularly Volkswagen, have been well-known for their downsized engines. But Ford's latest supermini attempts to beat that with its award-winning 1.0-litre unit - in the facelifted Fiesta.
Ford is determined to rattle the cages of a few rivals with its refreshed Fiesta that is small in size but big at heart.
"Hot" can mean a lot of things - temperature, good looks and so on. "Hot hatch", however, already has its interpretation. Now, the Ford Fiesta has added its own rendition of that description.
