The Land Transport Authority announced last Wednesday that electric bicycles will have to be registered starting next Monday.
When the new law goes into force later this year, bicycles and PMDs such as e-scooters, can travel on public paths, together with pedestrians.
A new proposed law will govern where and how Personal Mobility Devices can be used, with possible penalties for errant users and sellers.
