The year long trial by LTA to provide free travel on the rail network for commuters at 16 designated city MRT stations has progressed smoothly.
The Straits Times reports only a few commuters have brought forward their journey timings to enjoy the free or discounted non-peak hour train rides to the city.
The previously announced free or discounted morning train rides within the CBD vicinity started today in a bid to ease the peak-hour crunch.
